Welcome to the website of the map portal of the Spatial Planning and Construction Code Department of the Regional Authority of the South Moravian Region.
The South Moravian Region (hereunder the "JMK") is a spatial planning authority pursuant to Section 5 of Act No. 183/2006 Coll., on Spatial Planning and the Construction Code, as amended (hereunder the "Construction Code") in charge of the land-use planning documentation (hereunder the "ÚPD“) of the region, being the land-use development principles (hereunder the "„ZÚR“), regulation plans (hereunder the "RP“) and land-use planning supporting documents (hereunder the "ÚPP“) of the region, being the land-use planning analytical data of the region (hereunder the "ÚAP“) and land-use studies (hereunder the "ÚS“). The Spatial Planning Geoportal of the JMK is established in order to fulfil the duty to enable remote access to land-use planning documentation and land-use planning analytical data in accordance with Section 164 and 166 of the Construction Act. Other mandatory requirements result from Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE).
The Geoportal includes also special-purpose cadastral maps of the JMK (hereunder the "ÚKM"). This is a special-purpose digital seamless format of the cadastral maps developed in cooperation with the Land Registry for the South Moravian Region for the purposes of the the geographic information system of the South Moravian Region. It can be utilised as reference data for the projects of the individual departments of the Regional Authority of the South Moravian Region, including spatial planning for the development of urban master plans (hereunder the "ÚP") in a digital format with accurate identification of land parcel numbers and possibility of interconnecting with the ISKN ČÚZK database.
Besides viewing data compositions, the Geoportal deals with map services publishing (in the WMS standard according to the OGC specifications, version 1.3.0). Registered users are provided with a medatata administration application in accordance with the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive, selected data download service using a data export module, editing module and data analysis module. The Portal also enables publishing selected map services in the KML/KMZ format.
